Accordions
Tangent's accordion section is named FAQ in the theme editor (
sections/faq.liquid). It shows a label, heading and text, followed by a list of collapsible questions. On screens 990 px and wider the heading area and the questions sit side by side.TANGENT 1.7 / SHOPIFY OS 2.0 / UPDATED 2026-10-19
Setup
- Add FAQ (category Text). The preset includes three questions.
- Edit the heading area.
- Write an Answer for each question. Questions without an answer are not shown on the store.
- Turn on Open by default for any question that should load expanded.

If no question has an answer, the section does not render on the store. In the theme editor, unanswered questions show with a hint.
To group questions by topic, add several FAQ sections.
